This sounds interesting. For 28mm minis what do you use to hide the layer lines ?
Its for sure more difficult but usually if you just paint really thick for your base layers you can hide em.

Why not Mod-podge instead of wood glue?
I tried it but it’s not as strong. And the wood glue gives it a great yellowed boney color

I reached out to Drifters Atlas with interest in one of their books but they haven’t posted anything to their FB page since October 2021. I sent them an unanswered message. They don’t make it easy to do business with them.

My white drybrush layers keep blending/the blue bleeds through. It doesn't look like yours does, how do you avoid this happening?
Are you using the white's as a drybrush layer? Or as a blending layer?
@Critical Crafting I think Im drybrushing but I don't honestly know the difference. Undercoats are dry. I dip brush in white, wipe off most of the paint and then quick shorter strokes to put it on

There are 2 things I don't understand 1 why didn't you put a basecoat on the dragon 2 why did you put the brownwash on before you put the colours on?
There was no need for a base coat as the skeleton was already the base color that I wanted, which is also why I applied the VERY HEAVY wash on it, to give it a bit more dimension before diving in
I made my own Dracolich but if you getsome gears and cogs for crafting, it makesafun buildfor a Clockwork dragon as well.
